Meghan Briestansky, LPC, PSC
Meghan is here to come alongside you, and help you create your best self. Building greater self-awareness and self-compassion equips us to be our best when we’re with others in the world. Meghan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, as well as a Professional School Counselor (PSC) in North Carolina.
Meghan graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2012 and continued on to receive a Master’s in School and Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University in 2014. She’s since gained years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and educators in Missouri, Pennsylvania, & North Carolina.
Once Meghan has spent time getting to know you, she chooses a counseling approach that best fits your personal needs. She’s seen success in using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Family Systems, and Person-Centered. These approaches are utilized to help connect your thoughts with your feelings and your choices, to help you set goals and achieve them, to recognize you are an essential individual, part of our world’s larger systems. Meghan believes in people’s innate goodness and wants to come alongside you to ensure you go forth confidently into the world!
